JEAN FILLIOUX

The Jean Filloux brand is recognized as the supreme Grande Champagne cognac by cognac lovers from around the world. This time, under the supervision of the only cognac educator in Japan, Yasuhiro Koinuma, Master Blender Christophe Fillioux has made a selection just for Koinuma that is ready for you to enjoy. This selection combines the expertise of both French and Japanese experts, traditional methods and a mellow terroir to create an emotional and dramatically enhanced flavor over the more well known Jean Filloux.

JEAN FILLIOUX No.1

Christophe Fillioux, Master Blender, has carefully selected from all the existing barrels to create a blend in which he takes pride and bottled it. This bottle contains cognac from 1958 to 1965 and now is the best time to drink. It was given the “No.01” title.

GUY PINARD

Guy Pinard began making Bio Cognac in 1967 earlier than anyone else and is known as the manufacturer which produces the best cognac in the Fins Bois region of France. Guy Pinard has a high reputation for producing cognac without a harsh taste or unnecessary traits. It’s also the maker of Raisi-Bulle BIO, a non-alcohol 100% grape sparkling juice.

FIN BOIS SELECTION

This is a very rare cognac which was produced in the “Fin Bois district,” and known as “Fin Bois.” Fin Bois is a very precocious area that produces a very light quality cognac in a short amount of time. Since water is not added in the final stage, you can really enjoy its depth and flavor.

CHATEAU de BEAULON

Chateau de Beaulon has a long history and was established in 1480 under the reign of Louis XI. It was then taken over by the Beaulon family in 1510 and has remained as such to this day. In addition to the Ugni Blanc grapes which are a main ingredient in today’s brandy, they also put forth the effort to cultivate Folle Blanche which produces an exquisite taste.

FOLLE BLANCHE COGNAC V.S.O.P

Before Ugni Blanc became the main staple of today’s cognac, it was the Folle Blanche that was the mainstay. Unlike Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche is still vulnerable to pests and climate change, but its delicate taste captivates all Cognac fans.

BACHE GABRIELSEN

In 1905, a young lieutenant, Thomas Bache Gabrielsen, arrived in a land of Cognac. That was the beginning of what would later come to be known as cognac’s prestigious Bache Gabrielsen. “DUPUY” is one of several brands owned by Bash Gabrielsen that has gained popularity in the Koinuma `S selection and many people still frequently inquire about. From this fact, it is easy to understand that this manufacturer produces high-quality cognac.

GARREAU

Armagnac, a fine manufacturer in the Golden Triangle, has old storage cellars which are ideal for aging the Armagnac in overgrown soil and oak casks. The style of blending, which has remained unchanged since 1919, creates an unparalleled Armagnac. We are very particular about making Armagnac with 100% Folle Blanche, which is not commonly found in Armagnac. Six particularly excellent vintages have been chosen from casks that have not been diluted with water (Cask Strength) then bottled.

TALBE

This cognac is produced in the village of La Basted d’Armagnac, one of the best areas in Bas-Armagnac and famous for having the best soil in the Armagnac region. It’s the pride of Mr. Talbe who continued to stick with the Folle Blanche and Baco Blanc. DARTIGALONGUE

In 1838, during the Louis Phillipe Dynasty, Dartigalongue moved from Saint Lannes near Madiran to Nogaro, Gers and established a company which continues to this day. It is a solid family-run business that remains true to its traditions and motto “Always be true to Armagnac.” In 1969, Pierre de Dartigalongue established his own distillery in Salles D’Armagnac and began full-scale production. Since then, the finest white grapes have been distilled into colorless transparent Eau de Vie every year, filling 400 liter oak casks which gradually add color as it awaits completion.
